New 14 gallon need help.

I know this is a Saltwater forum but I have been posting to many threads on the freshwater forum. I want to know if all this is fine in a 14 gallon.

5 cory catfish.

8 neon tetras.

1 dwarf goumari.

1 guppies that I have to rehome in the 14 gallon.

1 Corry is fine...... not 5

How many, I know people recomend 6 but the base of the tank is only 36x50 cm.

too many fish for that size of a tank
1 inch of fish per 3 gallons of tank

I wouldn’t bother with one Cory, they do better in groups. One inch per 3 gallons? Never heard of that one and inch per gallon isn’t a good way to stock anyways. Neon tetras no problem, my advice ditch the guppy and gourami and increase the group of neons, they do much better in groups of 10-15+. Plus they also have a much smaller bioload than the gourami or guppy.

Lol, I ended up getting a 22 gallon instead of the 14 gallon, It took a month to cycle. I currently have 5 cory catfish in the 22 gallon, 8 neon tetras and a dwarf goumari. I'm already stocked! But thanks anyway lol
