New 150 DD

So I've had some large reefs in the past but I took about a 4 year break when I moved for work. I decided to get back in the hobby three years ago. I started out with a small 5 gallon Nano while in my apartment, then once I bought a new house, I purchased a 60 cube. Well it's been up and running for the past 3 years. I'm 99% SPS. Well I was running out of "Realestate" in my tank and there are still some SPS that I would like to get, SOOOO. Time for an upgrade. I originally was looking at just going to a 93 cube, but after doing some measuring and thinking, I decided that I would not be happy with just a 93 cube, so I decided to take the plunge and get a Marineland 150DD. I will be using all my old equipment and just adding a couple new items. I also decided that it was time to redo the sump/frag station in the basement, so I've built a new stand and added a new frag tank.

I love my 150 cube. Are you just going to run one drain and the return through the overflow? I initially had mine like that but decided later to run the return over the back of the tank opposite side of the overflow and have an emergency standpipe.

Thanks. I have it plumbed the standard way due to my sump in the basement and I don't want to drill another hole in my hardwood floors.

I have a 120 gallon sump in the basement that I left full when I took down my 60 cube. I used that water and then made the rest new to finish filling it and the sump back up.

How is the flow? I have a icecap gyre 3k on my 90 gallon. I am working on a build for this is exact same 150 gallon cube tank. I was considering adding an MP-10 in addition to my gyre for variety in my flow patterns. Would my icecap be sufficient enough I am shooting for a mixed reef.

I'm Running two MP40's on the back at about 75% and then the Gyre at the top, pushing in a different direction, but it's only running around 30%. There are no dead spots in the tank and everything gets pretty good flow/movement.
