I have been posting to my local reef club here in Reno/Sparks but have not posteed to Reef2Reef for some stupid reason. This is my 165 gallon build. Any comments are welcome. Love to learn something new. Ready to start to fill tomorrow.

Ok, so using the Apex ATO, i have my RO water in garage and the tank is approximentaly 45’ away. So the problem was connecting the ATO Pump to the ATO.

My solution was to get another Apex 832 power bar to run the ATO and the auto water change that is outside.

The next issue was finding a usb cable long enough without a repeater in it. GOOD luck with that so YouTube I went. I found by running cat6 (or cat5) cable the distance and putting on some cheep usb cable ends it works like a charm. The two Power bars popped right up in my fusion.

Just wanted to pass it on for others in the same boat

Got it filled and cycling. So happy. Should finish up case this weekend.

Gigantic tank! I know it early but what is your livestock list? And what lights are you going to use?

So i was building a 90 gallon tank till i found this tank and switched up. So i will be doubling this set up. There are 3 A360 e series tuna blue kessils and 4 t5 blue reef. In each setup. Thank for your interest

Tank will be a mixt tank. Lots of lps, softies, sps, zoas, tangs, ill move my fox face and clam in there as well. It will be fun getting fish and coral
