New 180 build - sps dominant reef

I am just getting off the ground on a new 180 reef. I was in the hobby and had a 240 fully grown reef for years, but opted out due to school and so on. Well, I'm back with a new 180. I am now a member of WAMAS (near DC) as well.

The tank uses:

3x Ecotech Marine Radions (gen2)
2x Ecotech Marine mp40
1x DC10000 Waveline as a return pump via
2x 1" seaswirls (very old, but still working!)
It has a 40 breeder as a sump, with
DCS200 Reef Octopus in-sump skimmer
300W Ebo heater
Apex Lite controller with leak detection module and 2x leak detectors
~120lbs of SouthSeas base rock
~50 lbs of live rock and rubble from Premium Aquatics (fully cured Fiji)

I have it connected to both reeftronics.net and aquaticlog.com

Pics to follow shortly, although I have only just begun to add corals to the tank.

As a point of reference... my old tank, when I shut it down in 2007, was using more than 6 times the power consumption of the current tank! (was 4x400W halides, 3 large pumps, etc).
