I have a new 180 gallon aquarium that I am setting up currently to replace my 125. I have it in place and in the process of filling it, it's taking awhile with my RODI system but it's slowly getting there. My question is, I was adding some water this evening and happen to look over at the right side when I saw a glint or shimmer and stopped to investigate. I can't tell if this is a scratch or a hairline crack or just residual silicone at the top edge of the glass underneath the trim. I have attached the best photo I could get with my phone of it. There is something on the inside too but it feels kinda rounded but could be part of it, at first I thought it was silicone but not entirely sure. I tried scraping it with a knife and it didn't do anything on the inside. The inside and outside spots in question do not match up so I do not think they are connected but just wanted to get a second opinion on this since it is a brand new aquarium. It's a Marineland 180 wide for reference. I bought it from the LFS on 12-06 but actually received it on 12-11, I filled out the warranty card online earlier today but it said that it had to be done within 10 days of purchase. I had no idea but it is within 10 days of when I received the tank....idk just concerned.
