Hey everyone! So I just fill my aquarium up yesterday my question is I have old live rock that has been dry for probably a year from my old tank would it be ok to put that rock in my newly started tank? Is there somthing I should do to prep the rock or just go buy some from local lfs?

What’s “stored properly” lol it’s been in my basement just sitting also has a bunch of little white worm like things I forget what there called. Wasn’t sure if I should rinse the rock with my garden hose and scrub loose stuff off?

I would scrub them down then. Let them air dry. Anything bad on them is dead. Just need make sure they are cleanish.
