using 3 kessil A360we and 1 radion gen 2 upgraded to gen 3... skimmer- bubble king supermarin 250.. flow, 2 mp40wes , 1 tunze 6155.. not sure about dosing or anything else at the moment.. will be all sps.

need to add a door (1) to cover the front opening- any suggestions?

me too! cant wait to get water in it Z( then wait 3 months for stock to be transferred... poor fish and corals are stuck in this tube these last 2 months

Just got done with the white ash paint... will start the 4 coats of polyurethane tomorrow!

that tank blew a seam and lost it !!! this is the replacment tank, its a 225 Peninsula

How thick was the acrylic they used on the 240? Did they replace the tank?
 
acrylic was 1/2" and yes they replaced the tank with the 225 above and 3/4" acrylic
1/2” is pretty common in tanks under24” but the cost between 1/2” and 3/4” isn’t that different so I’m amazed at how many companies use 1/2” vs 3/4” especially when I would figure most people buying tanks above 200 gallons wouldn’t mind spending a couple hundred more for the heavier material. I just built my 520 out of 1” the cost between 3/4” and 1” through my distributor was $40 per sheet.

cause its all about profit margin more than it is about quality these days
