New 300 Gallon Tank - Pictures

Hey folks,

So I was asked to post photos of my journey towards my 300 gallon tank. So below is part of my original post but below this you will see some photos. Below is a link to what I am going to put in it and I looking for suggestions! Sorry the lights are pink my grow lights are next to it.

Next piece, what kind of tank am I going for? Well I want it to be a reef tank so coral of all sorts is the goal. I know that limits some of my fish options but with 300 gallons + 120 gallon sump + maybe a 55ish refugium - I think i can have some pretty cool stuff. My tank is very wide being almost 3 feet back and 2 feet tall.

So basically now I need some help into advise on how to set this thing up. Price really isn't to much of an issue (not saying I want to buy the most expensive of everything - but still I am in no rush and want to do it right). I think I want to use an APEX, I do tend to travel for a week or two at a time which means I need to be able to be notified if things go south. I will have a camera hooked up to view it as well. I am a tech nut - I hand built a chicken coop with cameras/ automated feeders/heaters/doors/cameras and waterers.​

Ok so here are some updates. This is the stand for my 300, followed by my sump tank design that I have now in the back. Since this is a large tank I had to build it really sturdy. I also made space for two wine fridges you know just the basics. Sorry for the delay between posts but had some life stuff to work on. However, I am back and further than ever. (Also pink lights are from my fig plants I grow )

Ok here is images of the other side of the wall where I have the sump/refugium and eventually hospital tank. Also you can see the wine fridges . Just roughed in because I pulled them out to finish up the plumbing. Next post will be plumbing!

Ok net update, filtration. Have a lot of the filtration installed. So far - 4 reactors for GFO/Carbon/2 Bio Pellets. Have 2 UV sterilizers, marinepure blocks, a EXT300 from Reef Octopus. Eventually I want to put in a calcium reactor but that will be down the road. Also have a huge refugium and an APEX. Still deciding on lights. I like the new Kessils but so expensive and cannot be controlled by APEX at the moment (Sad face). Check out the stuff

Also, these are dry fitted so a little "sagging" is happening until I tighten them up
