NEW 32g biocube Media rack ADVICE NEEDED

Thanks for checking them out! Work in progress haha.
Yea they(sponges) are fine. I wouldn’t use the green(phosphate) cube yet until you have phosphates above .1ppm.
yah ill wait on the green one ill get these sponges and get some filter floss use that aswell

The elite had negative results for ours.
I rotate them. 1 month blue, 1 month nothing, 1 month elite, 1 month nothing. It’s been working like that in my cube for a year and a half, I don’t question it to much lol.

Thanks! I have trouble getting pics in that tank. I think it’s the curved front panel.

InTank sells it in bulk for cheaper btw

Yea. In an inTank media basket. Hold off on the elite, it’s gfo(phosphate remover)
cool so thats more towards when i get fish and corals in there right, so lets say in 2 weeks il get some live stock in there you would add the sponges wait a month then add chemipure blue with filter floss, wait a month take blue out out wait a month and so on yes?

Yea that’s a good plan. Depending on your nitrate and phosphate tests you may not need the chemipure blue yet. The first 6 months if your nitrates are 20+ like most tanks just keep running it, switch it out every month. After awhile your tank will stabilize out and your live rock will play a bigger role in breaking down nitrate, look for little bubbles coming off your rock and sand, that’s nitrogen gas, that last part of waste being broken down. Good signs

Well if you are using the made for it they have activated carbon in them. I have Marine pure cubes in mine it's been up for 3 yrs works great.

I have Intank media basket for my biocube 16...you can add some seachem matrix on bottom tray and I use intank filter floos on top tray...after tanks cycle you can add chemipure elite and purigen to middle tray...this is what I run on my biocube 16.
2 clownfish, 1 neon dottyback, 1 Bta, zoas, acans, mushroom, hammer coral.
And a variety of cleaning crew.
