New 40/45 gallon

Thanks man. Seller labeled it wrong and I figured the same after taking the dimensions

how has it held up? I added some support to it underneath just in case

No issues so far... had to leave the stand with some shims but looks to be all good now. Stock is 2x clowns, 1 purple firefish, saddle puffer, cleaner shrimp, and lawnmower blenny. Everyone seems happy... Not planning on doing coral in the tank any time soon.

yeah, i may only do 2 more small fish...max 3. I have corals so they can pick up the nutrients i'd imagine...taking it slow on this one.

We have flow! Minor leak as I didn’t have lock nut tight enough on overflow.

Shrimp floating to start cycle

I guess seeding this tank with rock from dino tank would be a bad idea? :)

Shrimp looking gross....

I think this is good? Maybe I should start the skimmer?

Pulled shrimp. It stunk. Starting skimmer. Pulled a little out already.
With microbacter start I and some live rock I should be good to add fish soon. I’m going to retest tomorrow and if ammonia and nitrite down will do water change and drop clowns this weekend.

Bulbs came in. This is just to show it’s setup. Still waiting to go full light until after corals in a month. Just working on cycle and slow acclimation of fish.
