New 55 gallon

I am working on that he was kinda an accidental buy.... My lfs doesn't carry saltwater some one had ordered him and never came and got him so they called me and now I have him I've orded copepods and plan to make a home for them to breed and things he's doing great right now he's fat and happy

You should buy a couple packs of copepods. The dragonet will wipe the copepod population very very quickly. I say this because normally it is best to allow a copepod population to grow and thrive for a few months before introducing a fish like this. It is very difficult to get them to eat fish food.

Awesome. So you kinda adopted. =). I seed my fuge and occasionally shake a handful of chaeto in the DT to drop any pods off that never makes it up through the return. Been couple months and the guy looks healthy, but my tank isn't all that mature at 13 months so bit nervous on keeping him. Ditto on more rocks. Good job!

I'm still waiting on my first pick of copepods to come in I ordered from aquarium Dept they were the cheapest and everyone seemed to give good reviews......
I really like him I had intended to get one way way WAY down the road but what do you do I couldn't just let him chill in the bag and end up dieing since they have no idea about saltwater.......I'm hoping when I go back to the store next week the rocks will still be there and on sale ....they were about 25$ I think last week I go every two weeks since that's when I get paid no one knows what they are I don't think so they go on sale and sit there and I'm trying to get them as cheap as possible even tho 25 for 40 lbs is cheap still I'm a cheapy chick
