Just picked up an acrylic 65 with built in overflow for $50 off craigslist. It is 36" x 18" x 24" I am going to build a sump with refugium for it. As far as a return pump I was thinking of either a Mag 9.5 or 12. I want to build the sump as big as I can so the return pump will be submersible. Any thoughts on using these or and other suggestions?

Those pumps will work fine. The only downfall is the heat the produce.

Also before you get water in the tank make sure you have buffed out any scratches that may bother you when the tank is set up! :)

The first thing I do this weekend is buffing out the complete tank. Then I will start out building the oak stand and canopy.

I was thinking Mag pumps because I heard they were quiet and one of the cooler running ones. I was also thinking of a Quite One 5000. I know Ehiem has been around for a long time, but I have never personally known anyone that uses their stuff.
