I have 140lbs of sand and 100lbs of cured live rock with coraline algae on it. I just added some zoanthid and millepora to my tank. Is there any special things I should do to help them grow?

Bump? I have 2 160w led blue and white led lights running 8 hours with blue on all 8 and white on for 7. I also have a 40 gallon sump with a 150 reef octopus skimmer and a refuge tank with 8lb rock and 6 inches of sand with a 14w led blue/white. Does that sound about right?

Sounds like a great start. Don't overfeed and keep a eye on your water parameters. Good luck enjoy.

WELCOME!!! You'll find a lot of knowledge of what you may need to help your reef along in the zoa discussion forum! Good luck!

Sounds good to me. What are your parameters? Good lighting, good skimmer, and stable parameters are key to any reef! And fish that poop a lot!
