A lot of research and planning and I am finally under way. Went with two separate islands mainly because I like the look but it also offers plenty of swimming room. Let me know what you think. It will eventually be covered with coral.

Looks great! What type of rock is that?

Looks awesome man. Keep up the good work. Please post photos of this when you get some corals in there. Is that man made rock?

Thanks everybody....the rock is Totoka live rock. Extremely porous and light. Stacks and locks together easily. Due to the quality and amount of live rock (roughly 65 lbs) the tank never went through the initial cycle. Even with the rock die off and throwing dead shrimp in, I never had any ammonia or nitrites. I starting showing nitrates within a couple of days. The tank has been running for about two months showing the same numbers.

I don't know if I am breaking any rules by naming the site (if so, admins please delete), but I purchased it at Saltwaterfish.com. It was Totoka Ultra Premium live rock. It was kind of expensive at $229 for 40-45 lbs but since it is so light you get a lot of rock for 45 lbs. I ended up with 90 lbs (due to shipping issues) but only used around 65-70 lbs. of it.

The aquascape looks great! I love the rock!! :)

Thanks again for all the positive comments....since everybody seems to like the rock, here is a closer picture showing more detail. You can't really see them in this picture, but there are a ton of red sponge looking growths that are popping up everywhere.
