Just purchased a 90 gal reef tank. How in the H.E.L.L do I get all the old Algae off the overflow box. This stuff is seriously crusted on. Or is it ok to leave some on the tank. I have used vinegar and a razor blade that has helped but it is still kiling my arm. What do I do?

It should be ok to leave it but you would need to fill the tank with fresh water then add a lot of white vinegar and let it set 24 hours then scrub it again if you wanted to get rid of it.

O ok thanks. I'm going to leave it. It's going to grow anyway.
