Starting my first reef tank with a 90 gallon build. Purchased a 40 gallon breeder for the sump. Was wondering what everyone is using for overflows? I see a lot about synergy reef and EMS was wondering if any experience would point me in a direction. Also, what are you guys using for return? Are you drilling or going over the top? Lots more to come as I’m just getting started.

I can't answer all of that since I buy tanks pre-drilled but for what I'm running on my return it is the Vectra M2. Depending on your dimensions and the way you're planning to plumb the tank you might be able to get away with a Vectra S2. Keep in mind the pressure drops that go along with your plumbing design when you size your pump.

Traditional 90. 48x18x25. As far as plumbing setup it’d be centered around what overflow i go with.
