New addition. Duncan

Picked up a new Duncan from my LFS today. Here's a video. It's all closed up but in a few days hopefully it will open back up. It's the coral in the back behind my Xenia and pipe organ and zoas.

Ok now I have to wait since all of my hermit crabs and snails decided to jump onto the frag and it closed back up. But I'm not complaining they are cleaning all the stuff I don't want off of the frag lol

Mine looked just like yours for a few days when I first got it, it'll open up and grow like crazy. Duncans are legit one of the coolest corals, watching them eat is super fun

Wow your Duncan looked like the one at lfs with so many head and was crazy expensive lol so I got the little runt ahah but yea I hope it will open up but I'm sure it will. I'm already seeing alot of growth from the Xenia and my pipe organ is getting more and more comfortable

I love Duncans. I have 2 of them. The small one was 18 heads then got a disease or something. I was able to save one head and grow it back to where it is today. Not sure how many heads are on either now.

3 little heads, I got it during Cherry Corals end of year sale and its been an absolute tank. I have a couple porcelain crabs who live in it and ticks it off but it still grows like crazy.

Thanks. I'm really pleased with the save from 1 head. I don't normally have success saving things once they go south so that one feels good. They grow pretty quickly if they are happy. It's helps if you feed them but it's not required.

What are your opinions on feeding? Reefroids? Something else?
