Have you kept Tridacnids before?
whats your lighting like? this species light needs are probably the highest of any organism that us as reef aquarists keep in our tanks, even higher than any of the acropora.
Thank you. Thanks for the advice. Thats what I have found during my research. Im only running a 14ga tank and have 16AI prime HD. Just put it in the tank today and pt it on a rock. It jumped off to the sand bed. I'll give it a bit and then try again moving it higher in the tank on the aquascape and see how it likes it.
Thanks for the suggestion I will look into it. Ya I research to a fault i'm told. Hate wasting $ and time on a bad decision.If you are the "researching type" of person with an interest in keeping tridacnid clams, I highly recommend Daniel Knop's book on them, $6 on Amazon, excellent read!
