Starting back up a new Tank... it’s been about 10 years since my last tank crashed, broke my heart, and made my sell all my stuff. (Broken PC light fixture crashed the tank while I was out of town)

My Kids (3 year old twins) asked for a “Nemo” and that was all the excuse I needed. (That or a Goat, and I’m not buying a goat)

Found a Craigslist 90g with stand about an hour away for $150, talked the wife into it, and here we go :). Just drilled the tank and painted the stand so far.

Have a hundred pounds or so of Liverock cycling in A rubbermade tote.

I’m in Middletown OH (between Cincinnati and Dayton)

Thanks for all the help I’ve been gathering as a lurker.

Welcome back to the hobby! My 5 year said he wanted a goldfish and it spiraled 3 years later to 4 tanks (no goldfish)

Welcome to reef2reef! My son was on a Lego Robotics team last year and for the project we studied coral and came up with a solution for re-populating reefs. Thats all it took to get the juices flowing enough to buy my first tank.

Great place here.

FYI, I just moved from that area (Springboro) last Nov.

There is a GREAT reef club there and forum, Ohio Reef Club, ohioreef.com. Monthly meetings at members homes and good people.

There is also a guy in Middletown who has awesome frags of lots of stuff at great prices.

I’m actually very jealous right now.

Anyway this is R2R, and it’s where I learned a lot and get a lot of help.
