Just upgraded yesterday from the Orbit Marine IC LEDs to 2 AI Prime HD LEDs. Question is, since I am going from such a low PAR system to the new lights, does anyone who runs the AIs know what I should start them out at so I don't bleach my whole tank? I have a 57 Deep Blue 36x18x21 (17 inches of water) with softies and LPS.

I run them on all three of my tanks and love them! Their is an acclimation setting to introduce them to changing lighting.
I always start off with the UV, violet, Royal and blue starting low and becoming more intense by late morning. Then I begin turning the green, red and whites on over the next 4 hours or so. By 3-4 in the afternoon, my lights are set to full power. From there, I start cutting back the same way I ramped them up initially.
For you, you may want to play around with coral placement and/or intensity and frequency to acclimatize. Watch your coral...they will let you know if something is off with your lighting intensity. Some of them will probably disperse zooxanthellae, but it’s normal, as they will switch out for another strain.
Just go slow and you will be fine!
Good luck and congrats on updating your lights and choosing Primes!

I have the acclimation setting on now. Started it at 60% reduction, as I am not sure the difference in strength between these and the IC other than a lot...lol I can't believe the difference in the appearance of the tank just with the acclimation setting; I can't wait to run it on a regular program. Right now I am running the acclimation version of the David Saxby program. I heard the BRS is also pretty good for growth.

I run the Kendall brown on my 29 gallon biocube and I love it corals seem to love it.
I never did acclamation mode but I’m pretty sure you can run whatever program and then use the acclamation mode. The one thing with these lights is with the phone app it’s easy to mess with them I did for the first month and It ticked the coral off. So run through settings and find one you like and leave it for awhile things will start reacting positively. I love my Prime HD’s wouldn’t trade them.
