New ALK reagent exp 8/2020

I bought 2 alk reagents a while ago from BRS. I just went to open my last box and the exp is 8/2020. Is it really expired or can I trust test results?

It's new old stock. Send them an email with a picture and request an RMA. This all depends on what you mean by bought "A While Ago". If it's 6 months or more ago, then forget it. If it was a month or two ago then its worth calling. I don't see why you should pay for the shipping back to them. They might tell you to keep it and they will just send you a new box, in which case you can then open it and see if its giving reasonable readings.

I experienced the ULR pO4 reagents and they were off and inaccurate 1-2 months prior to the expiration. Probably the same boat with alk if I would guess.

I had the same experience last month with Hanna Alk Reagents that would expire on 09/2020.
The reading was high by .3dKH
