Sharks are in big trouble on the Great Barrier Reef and worldwide, according to an Australian-based team who have developed a world-first way to measure rates of decline in shark populations.

Sad to see this, but glad to see its getting some more publicity. Sharks are believed to have been overfished for years, but nobody had any evidience to back up the theory, because global population studies had never been done.
