New and here to learn

Hi guys,

I'm Mohan from the notorious Malaysia.

I started a 4ft FOWLR tank 12 years ago and it was short lived coz the tank cracked after 3 months and I totally lost interest.

Now after moving to a new house which has more forgiving space I started a 4ft marine tank again. Planning on a reef tank. It's been over 3 months since I started. Cycled n added live stock too.

I have so much to learn and hoping to learn from all of you.

Well, what I learned lately is invest in QTs and hospital tanks now....it will save you in the long run. I lost about$700 in fish recently.

Sorry noob question. What are QT's. And what's a hospital tank? I'm guessing it's some sort of quarantine tank for fish with disease. But I'd like to know more. Thank in advance.

Hi, can you advise me how to attach a pic. I tried using the attach file but for some reason it's not attaching the pic. The file is 4Mb. I'd appreciate any tips.

Right QT's are quarantine tank. How ignorant of me.. Hehe

Maybe it's not letting post a pic from the phone. I'll try it from the pc.

If you want to post pictures on the phone, click the picture icon at the top bar above the text box (right next to video icon). Then, click the box after it pops up to select the images.

Hmm... not sure on the reason it wouldn't let you post from your phone. I've posted pics from my phone. Maybe someone with more experience with that feature will chime in.

thank you for the replies. for some reason didn't let me post from my phone. possibly my browser. i'm using dolphin.
from the computer it worked right away. heres the tank. sorry for not so good pic but it's a struggle to get a nice pic with the phone. it's always so blue. i had to substantially increase the warmth to get a decent pic.
