Hello just got home today looking at my 32 gallon Biocube and i saw this on my rock that I have had since October kinda looks like my cleaner shrimp antenna but hes on the other side of the tank....really confused I just pulled a bristle worm out a few days ago could this be another worm?

Would love all the help I can get very new at the hobby.

That would be a quick molt just got him on the 13th... about to do a water change maybe ill touch it and see if it recedes back in the rock.

and also it has like 8 hair like points of various sizes

Agreed molt, and it also looks like something dragged it into that hole in the rock.

Okay after very delicately and with only the most precise tools at my disposal (generic needle nose pliers) I can safely confirm my fears of a worm are not true. It was a molt maybe my diamond Goby stored away his "treasure"?
