New Anemone & aggressive LawnMowerBlenny

Hey everyone, I got a Rose Bubble Tip anemone as a gift from a friend. A small 2.5” anemone. Though my issue is that the anemone Is in a spot where my blenny is capable of throwing sand at it with its own tail. This worries me because I don’t want the Lawnmower Blenny to cover my anemone in sand. Is there anything I can do to get my Anemone by force out of that crevice or do I have to wait until the anemone chooses itself to move?

Calcium: 450
Magnesium: 1320
40-GallonBreeder
Viparspectra 165watt lighting at 80 blues and 10 whites
Moderate flow.

The nem will move if it's unhappy with the sand splashes. Don't try to move it yourself, you'll just make things worse.

How old is the tank?

The tank is two months old by now, I’ve had the tank cycle for about 3 weeks before even adding live stock.

Two months is pretty early for an anemone. Usually, I tell people to wait at least 6 months for an anemone.

I understand, I’ve heard all around social platforms and websites that you should at least wait until your tank matures in 6 months or more to add an anemone inside your tank. But I’ll keep you all updated to see how it goes!

Not to be mean but the best thing you can do is return it.

like said before. I would be more worried about the age of the tank before some sand being thrown at it. If it’s not happy with the location it will move on its own.

He ended up moving from hole to hole and is very happy in his spot meanwhile the blenny was capable of gaining his spot back. Like someone stated in a different thread, “He just wants him to move from his spot” was correct about this situation since my blenny was unhappy with the anemone taking over his spot. At the moment my anemone is doing great, showing his colors and eating perfectly well!
