Hi everyone.
so today I brought my first green bubble tip anemone. I acclimated her and popped her in. She moved a little but eventually found a rock and has stayed there for over 6 hours. She’s been looking great.
I fed my fish frozen mysis and thought I’d target feed the anemone. All of a sudden she went from full looking to this (please see pictures) is it her eating? Does she look healthy?

Unless the clownfish or you are feeding it, its likely just expelling normal waste. It should be normal within the next 12 hours.
Just watch for the mouth to be gaping open longer than a quick expelling event.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. As saltyreef said, it's probably expelling waste.

Just giving you a heads up. As the nem looks fine and happens to be looking normal.

If your bubble tip goes into hiding and you see it inside a rock. DO NOT attempt to remove. If it hides under a rock, do not flip that rock. There are a few people who have and that caused injury to the bubble tip, which caused infection and led to death.

If you have a sump and you cannot find or spot your nem anywhere, check the sump to see if it went in there.

Bubble tips are going to roam. If yours sits there and is happy in that spot, congratulations!

Cover power heads with a nem guard if you can. They get chopped up a lot by power heads.
