New anemone moved

Brand new tanks will absorb alk and cal into rocks and coraline algae growth etc. I have a second new tank right now and needing to add alk at a great rate with no corals. It will then slow down a bit. Just let the anemone be. It will probably move a couple more times
I’ll test again and add some. Hopefully you’re right and I start seeing some coralline growth.
I’ll also check the mix parameters at my next test.

Nitrates are also a bit on the low end for anenomes liking. Mine all get ticked off south of 10. Best expression at 15-20 to be honest.

If you are unsure about your lights ability, You will need to have some nutrients in the water.

So it’s been a week and a half. The good news is the anemone seems very happy, nice bubbled tips, fully inflated and beautifully coloured up. It’s even mostly played nice with the clove polyps. But it hasn’t moved from the bottom rear of the tank. I have a hard time imagining it’s getting enough light, but I guess if it’s happy…

Month- ish update. The anemone is still doing fantastic, color is great, and it's nicely bubbled up at the tips. It has stayed in its spot at the lower back of the tank, not moved at all, so I guess this is just where it lives now. It stung the ever loving crap out of the clove polyps on the frag plug, which all died, but luckily not before they grew out onto the rocks. So I have a good budding colony of the clove polyps and a happy anemone. Guess I'm good until it decides to split.

Well darn. It was going so well. Then my Kessil crapped out again (second time in 6 months) and I replaced it with a Radion. Now the nem looks like this.
