So I ordered an anemone off of ebay. Super awesome colors on it! I left my dad in charge of drip acclimating it, as I was at school. I told him to dial the valve to make the drip setup 1 drip per second. I should’ve told him to make it 5 drips a second because after 2 hours, and when I got home the water volume had only doubled. It was also a bit cold, in a panic I put the anemone in a breeder box and got it in the tank. The mouth is now “bulging” if that makes sense. (I cant get a pic right now due to lighting) Anyhoo, should I just give it time or what’s the move?

Best thing you can do is leave it be now. Turn down flow and add it to the rocks. Anemone are a pain to acclimate over the first couple weeks. Very hardy afterward.

Give it a week to adjust to your tank, best to not add it to the acclimation box as it can’t adjust to your lighting

Thanks guys! Shut off pumps and got it on the rocks! Covered my wave pump too. He seems a bit better now too :)

Yea dont stress, it should be fine. I dont even acclimate those guys, usually just dump them right in lol. Give it a few days and it should look better.
