Hi. I have a new gbta. Almost everyday around noon the thing will shrink to almost nothing and spew out brown stringy stuff and looks like its gonna die. But then a couple hours later it is poofed up looking happy again. Is this just something new ones will do in a new tank?

They are expelling waste when they do that...though I will admit, once a day seems like a lot.
Thanks for the reply. I have only had for about 5 days now. He has done it everyday except 1. So far he hasnt eatin in my tank that ive seen. The carpet anenome on the back of the rock that it came with (for free) has eatin and seems to be doing fine. Just hope the gbta does fine. He is my first anenome. Waited to get him to first see if i could keep a shrimp alive. He has been thriving so got the gbta. I cant stop staring at it
