So after 7 months running my 20 gallon tank, I did some research about anemones and I finally decided to purchased a green bubble tip anemone. When it arrived it looks perfectly normal and doesnt have any sign of issues. After let him acclimated and put him in the tank over night, the next morning I realized that his mouth is exposed, the tentacles doesnt have any signs of deflating or anything. Since it's my first anemone so I dont have that much experience with it, I was wondering if it's a normal behavior. Thanks in advance!

Btas are pretty hardy. I’m not seeing any signs of gaping mouth and it looks good. You just got it chances are it’s going to move and do it’s own thing give it a week or two before you try to feed it it should be fine.

*Update
So for the past 3 days he seems to be doing fine, staying open and looks healthy, but then this morning he suddenly retract then hide under a rock, I'm not sure if this is a normal behavior of a BTA?

When I first added an anemone to my 13.5, it would look great one day and then the next it might close itself up completely with the tentacles looking dead - really dead.
Then it would open and be fine for a day then close up again. Finally, it started moving all over the rock until it settled in the same spot it was in before. I was definitely prepared to lose it.
I added a wavemaker to the tank and it has been fine ever since. I don't know how much of it was because of the increased flow and how much was from it just finally liking it's new home but you might want to change the flow in your tank to see if that helps.
