Hey everyone,
I have a 40 gallon tank currently stocked with a pair of clowns, a six-line wrasse, a lemon damsel, 20 snails, a sifting sand star, a pink Haitian anemone and a green bubble tip. My clowns were my first saltwater fish I’ve owned and I’ve had them for a couple of months now. My newest additions are my anemones which I actually just added last night. I was quite shocked how high the salinity of the water was from the tank they were in at the store, so I’m hoping they’ll adjust fine. I increased from 1.022 to 1.023 last night, and after reading a little bit more it sounds like the anemones would do better at 1.025? My bubble tip moved and is now clinging to the side of my rock. Last night my pink Haitian was moving quite a bit, and was even on the tank wall at one point. Woke up this morning and he’s upside down? Looking to see what you all recommend I do, and if I should increase my salinity what’s the easiest and least stressful way to do that for my fish?
Thanks!!
