New anenome for my perculas?

Bought some perculas from lfs a few months ago and a condy that they won't touch. Live and learn I guess. I wanted to get a good nem that has a higher chance to host them. Going to order from petco, as they have my randall and pistol shrimp I want with great prices and shipping. Adding a nem to my cart as well. Can I get your feedback on this one as a host for Perculas? Not sure if they are true or false. they did cost $30 a piece. But anyway, thoughts on this one?

I have a 30 gallon tank. Nitrates are very low (10ppm or under). Ammonia and nitrites are in check. Salinity in my tank is 1.024 and I keep my temp around 79. I run 2 blue 6500k actinics and 2 10000k T5 totaling 156 watts (39watts each) I really want a good host for my clowns. Either of those two good candidates?

Do you have anywhere else you can go except for petco? I know their prices are good, but their animals and critters come with issues more then half the time.
I'm not telling you not to do it, but just be warned.

How long has your tank been running now?

Hi and thanks for the reply. Tank is 8 months old. Yes, petco has some pretty good prices, which is why I've chosen them. Sure there are places I can go other than petco, but when you're as poor as I am, you don't have much of a choice. lol The only thing I'll be ordering from there is the Randalls Goby, Pistol shrimp and quite possible one of those anemones. Whichever one would be the better choice. After placing the order, I'll be pretty well finished stocking the tank. With the exception of corals, of course.

I understand petco is the poor mans options.. believe me, I am in the same boat. I just see how the stores around here (petco) have no experience with saltwater stuff and their employees real havoc on their fish stock.
A LFS is more knowledgeable and even though they have higher prices, they also have a better healthier selection to pick from.

I did some reading up on petco in the vendors forum here and people have said that the fish ordered online are in good shape. The fish that are ordered, as I understand, don't come from the store, they come straight from the .... don't want to call it a warehouse... but the supplier? Anyway, yeah the fish in the store are pretty bad but that's only because the employees don't know what they are doing. No different than walmart. But they say the fish from online seem okay. It's only when they get to the store that they have the problems. I asked LFS to order me some fish and they wouldn't do it. Ever since, I've not gone back there. I'll give petco online a chance. They do offer a 30 day guarantee on their live fish and will give a refund if they die. 30 days is pretty good. "Petco's commitment to our customers: All Aquatic Life, including live rock, plants, and invertebrates are guaranteed to stay alive for 30 days from the day they arrive at your home or we will gladly refund your money."

So sure, I'll give it a shot. I just need to figure out which anenome to get. Maybe the Sebae? Problem is, I don't know whether my clowns are true perculas or false. LFS wouldn't give an answer... probably because they didn't know. But I'd wager they are true... i think... :neutral:
