I have lost much money, corals, fish and sleep over my aquarium but watching it sit majesticly atop my bedroom closet is one of the best things in the world for me. I need to ID some worms in my tank, I think they are harmless but I have learned that with reefs its better to be safe than suffer the consequences shortly after.
My aquarium has survived 3 months in my room I have 4 fish (used to be 8, 1 of them has survibed since the very beginning!), 0 corals (used to be 8; which I hope to restore to its former glory one day...), and hundreds of brine shrimp + phytoplankton. Also I used to have 3 snails and 1 hermit that passed away (1 is still alive inside my tank). Its a 30 gallon tank with sump containing UV ster., protein skim, 500 gph return pump and filter system with activated carbon.
Comments, questions and advice about my aquarium are most welcome! So far glad to be here
PS I do believe that my coral died due to poor lighting and will be upgrading that this week.
PPS I am bleaching my rocks currently which is why there is barely any in my picture
