Got the pump in and it is so quiet all you hear is the water love this pump

nice. glad you like the BH. I have 4 of the 2700s running and they are beasts!! push some serious water and are super quiet! would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

You ended up using 1.5" pipe correct? Also, both ends of the pump were 1.25 inch Female ends, correct? I am about to order this pump, and want to make sure I get the right pipe, and bulkheads. Thanks!!

I did use 1 1/2 in. on both sides of the pump but you can use 1 1/4 I used 1 1/2 in. I had to use 2 elbows to get the pump where I wanted it and they said not to use elbows on the intake side the out end I used it in hopes of keeping the head pressure down a little
