new aquarium setup

I have pieces of coral in a box that I'd like to put into a new saltwater aquarium...what should I do to these pieces before I put them in as not to introduce any bad bacteria into the new tank?

Throw em in a bucket of bleach water first, give em a good rinse, let em dry out for a few days, then your good to go. As long as we are talking about just dead coral your putting in the tank, not real live coral.
