So i currently have a Fluval EVO 13.5 Gallon tank and my LFS is selling a Red Reefer 170 fully stocked with the sump heater 30 pounds of live rock and skimmer for 1200. Do you think the upgrade is worth it or should i get something that is a little bit bigger. Thanks everyone

I personally think it depends on how much space you have to work with.

I can tell you the Reefer 170 is a nice tank, because I have one myself and am very pleased with it.

it also comes with a kessle light

$$$? I'm not sure. What light unit, power heads and skimmer does that come with?

One of the best things about the Red Sea range is that they don't come with anything. This enables the hobbiest to spec exactly what they want. If the LFS are bundling it together you lose this.

I have a
1 Chalk Goby
1 Yellow Coral Goby
2 Ocellaris Clown Fish
1 Yellow Coris Wrasse
3 Green Chromis
nice that is awesome i am prob going to pick that up tomorrow the tank is fully cycled and has been set up for a pretty long time everything seems to be running correctly since its at my LFS but it comes with a pretty well know brand skimmer i forgot the name of it. it comes with kessle lighting. 30 pounds of live rock. So i think i am getting a decent deal. this is going to be my first i guess tank that is not a nano

There is no substitute to having a setup with a sump, it makes life so much easier. As you can see mine is tightly packed, but I have a lot in there.

Good luck and I hope you get as much enjoyment out of yours as I get from mine.
