Started working on the aquascape today, the structure on the left has a bunch of propping rocks while glue dries.

Very nice. Looks like it’ll allow lots of flow thus eliminating detritus build up and plenty of room for coral growth!

I learned my lesson on the first tank with the uncleanable rear rock wall

I’m having a more experienced reefer who is pretty good at scaping show me the ropes with my very first scape for exactly that reason. I don’t know what I’m doing and don’t want to create something I’ll regret a few months in

I just watched a bunch of videos on nsa scraping, used the same technique but changed what I didn’t like about most of their designs, once it’s completely how I want it it will be mortared together, just superglue holding everything now.

I’m going with the glue and sand method personally. I have an idea of what I want to do. It’s the execution of said idea that eludes me
In my 29g tank, my rock is just free balanced. I will probably change this in the future, but it’s solid right now, even with the powerhead pointed right on the stack and the snail mowing over them.
