Who said that LEDs don’t grow or color corals? Illuminating this aquarium are eleven 50-watt 12,000K Cannon pendants. Every sps coral in this reef aquarium started out as small frags and now look at the end result, great growth and excellent color.

Reef Culture.

Before I review the next tank on our tour, let me just say that we all know who are the Wrasse Aficionados in America. We have Kevin Kohen, Bradley Syphus, Jim Gryczanowski and now added to this list of Wrasse Molesters is Hunter Hammond. Hunter has a great looking tank, but it was hard for me to notice since I was too preoccupied with his impressive assortment of wrasses.

Hunter Hammond’s 190-Gallon Profile:
Hunter’s wrasse haven is a Starphire tank built by Deep Sea Aquatics. The tank was placed in Hunter’s living room where he spends most of his time. The tank was delivered in September of 2012 and stocked the following month. The dimensions of this tank are 60"Lx27"Wx27"H with an overflow conveniently positioned left of center.
