Hi All...
So going back many many years ago as a young adult, l had a custom 8ft x 2x2 marine tank complete with a trickle filter sump build and ran it successfully for many years until a busy working life unfortunately took over. So l gave all my stock to Seaworld and have longed for a tank ever since.
Over the past few years lve been researching for a new tank setup and have final settled on a 2nd hand waterbox 70.2.
This process alone has taken 3mths hahaha... talk about having patience. And so then 2 days ago was the first fill.
Im using 100% RODI and aquaforest Pro-biotic salt with Bio S as a start up kit, also have mantis bio blocks in the sump with a large amount of CaribSea live rock as can be seen.
Salinity is sitting at 32.8pp with a temp of 25. Yet to test other parameters but that'll be tomorrows job.
