Hello, I’m new here and not real sure where to post this, but here goes.
I have purchased a bio cube 16 to replace an established 40 gal reef tank with 1 flame angel and a gobie.
My plan is to use some of the 40 gal sand, live rock with corals and water. Does anyone see an issue with this? Would there still be a need to cycle tank before adding the fish?

All the bacteria you will need will be on the rock that you transfer, no cycle. A flame angel will not do well in 16 gallon ( plus it’s less with the displacement from the rock and sand).
