Hey everyone, got the aquatic life 115. Chamber 1 or 2 next to in tank basket? After cycle coral suggestions? Thank you!

I had tried BC29 and had the 115 in my first chamber. I added the airline mod to the skimmer and changed it to a magnet mount.

We're you worried about keeping water level consistent so you put in chamber 1? It fits so easy in 2

I wanted the fuge and media basket to be in chamber 2

the hood on the 32 is lower in the back than the 29.
I have tried every way possible to get my AL115 in chamber 1 but the end result is failure...(I tried the tunze as well)
Yesterday was the airline tubing mod and the magnet mod but no joy...the water level is to high to produce any quality skim
its going back into chamber 2 or 3 tonight....i use an ato to keep the skimmer happy
The only working skimmer in chamber 1 is the CL piece of junk

For it to sit correctly in my BC29, I cut away the access door that covered all 3 chambers in the back so that it didn't cover chamber 1. This allowed me to keep the skimmer high enough to work correctly.
