Update on my biocube. Really went for a ride refently. My dosing pump was left on and emptied the reservoir.

Luckily I believe I walked out of with minor loses. One torch head loss and peach hammer really hurting. If that’s the full list of problems I’m pretty happy though.

Might be upgrading into a larger tank shortly. I have been in the works to find the right one.

Sorry for your loss but it sounds like it could have been worse. Just keep swimming!

Everyone seems to be happy. Minor issues that I’m working on. Trying to figure a little bit out of the coral combat opening and how to handle it with out losing to much. I’m hoping for growth patterns to change and I can continue to keep placements with out to much fragging.

Been getting asked to frag some out but have yet to do it and personally am nervous to. I want a full beautiful tank and haven’t felt the need to trim back just yet.

Your tank is smoking! Fragging will be in your future, lots of videos on YouTube. Invest in a dremel with a diamond blade for your lps and a bone cutter.

Dude thank you! It’s came a long way and you really gave me the inspiration with the biocube from early on. Thank you for that!

I got a dremel and bit ready. Have used my bone cutter but only to remove the frags from the plugs and so on lol.

I have a torch head that was lost in an accident a few weeks back.

Any suggestions for that? Leave the dead skeleton or should I cut it flat off to remove the dead head.

Trying to make the decision to remove my nem. He’s so fun to watch and has been hosted with the clown now for a few months that im hating the idea. He’s taking up a ton of space and has continued to make me move corals from his stings.

We would love to try out hand at some acros and in this lay out that location would be best suited from the stick.

Oh and finally got a photo of my mandarin

My anenome finally split!!

I’ve been wondering and debating what to do as it was getting so large it has killed a couple corals and forced me to move some others. We have loved it so going back and forth to remove him completely or remove the corals near him.

Came home and couldn’t believe it. Not one but 5!! Had no idea they even split that many at once.

Boy was that challenge then. One landed in my utter chaos colony and others all inbetween rocks. I love never done this before so tried some ice at the foot and was able to roll them off the rock.

I damaged one to the point of no return unfortunately. Was able to get two of them safely off and gave one to my brother and one to my father. Then have been waiting patiently for the final one to come back out for us to move to our other tank.

It’s been a week now and we’re still waiting for the final nem to come to a location we can grab him. The original monster and came back to its original hole and is looking happier than ever.

What a wild ride!
