After leaving Kansas, and having to shut down tanks there, I have convinced new school in Alabama to allow me a small Biocube in my class here. So it Begins again….

Had to build a stand and get a QT set up. Most deliveries arrive to my house on Saturday so this will QT and hold items until I can get them back to the classroom. Really like how the simple stand build came out.

Love the QT set up.
Are you adding some lumber between the top and bottom frames? As it is, it looks like the top frame isn't being transferred to the floor and is held up by screws?

I considered corner pieces between top and bottom frames but for a 20 gallon didn't think it needed. There are 4 upright 2x4s under tank and then 4 screws in each corner it will hold the 200 or so pounds quite easily. I can always add them in later if I decide to.

SO I have not put water in the tank yet want to fill it tonight. Going to dump a bottle of Dr Tims, and or Bio spira on the sponge filter and the sponge for the aerator has been in Biro cube back chambers for a week. can I put fish in tank immediately? Or will I need to wait?

Update this tank was sitting in a Bio lab neglected with a single clownfish in it. School has asked me to take it and rehab it
