Nice bat cave! I did kinda the same thing with my rock... got any big plans for your tank? any cool upgrades to the lights or anything?

None I added some of the coral life actanic leds that you can add on but thats about it ...... I plan on only buying frags and letting them grow in . Aussy acans and stuff like that

right on... I added 2 of the blue accent LEDs into mine and was slightly disappointed. They made a slight difference but not as much as I would have liked. I kinda wanna go get the other 2 to fill up all 4 but don't wanna spend the money if its not gonna do much... I could get a new coral with the money I spend on those lights... i dunno, I'm on the edge.
Where did you get that live rock?

great rock work. I'm always suggesting this for nanos because I so wish I could keep sexy shrimp - they are so cool. A few in that size tank would look great! They look particularly awesome when paired with a deeply colored maxi mini.

Its actually rock mined from Florida . Bulkreefsupply is where I got it .

Question for biocube users .... have you guys had a problem with heat ? Mine gets to 80-82

I keep my heater at 74 and my tank runs around 75-76 normal... to keep it from getting hot i keep my house at 68 degrees... otherwise i would have to buy a chiller... during the summer months the temperature of the tank is a bit of an issue.. But defiantly controllable.

80-82 is pretty high.... is it near a window? get direct sun light?

Yes those hoods with the pc's do get hot. You can take the back lid off and blow a fan in there and it will help. I had to take to he front lid off the hood on mine as well and it stayed 80 degrees. Also don't waste money for those extra leds. Wish I never did they do not help much there are retrofit kits for leds you can buy that are direct fits for those hoods.
