I got a new red blasto from my LFS. Got it set up in the tank and noticed some bubble algae on a skeletal section. Should I just break off the skeletal portion? I don’t want to add additional stress to the coral since it just got transported into my tank. I also don’t want to have a bubble algae issue. What should I do?

Take frag out of tank and into a container of tank water and scrape them off with a paring knife or similar
