I got a beautiful borbonius anthias from divers den. Got in DT yesterday. Was hiding a bit but could still find until last night. Have not seen it in 12 hours. Is this freak out time or maybe it’s hiding and needs a couple days to get comfortable? Will it starve? This is my first anthias so I’m a bit nervous.

200 gal mixed reef. 2 big tangs. 1 small foxface. Rest are smallish wrasses etc. TIA.

Maybe try lowering the light intensity to make it feel more comfotable as they are deeper water species, will probably need some time to get comfortable just. The 2 big tangs could be giving it a hard time, if youve notcied anything, what types of small wrasses are they

2 leopard wrasses, a yellow coris and red head Solon fairy wrasse.

Just got a Bobonius Anthia on Wednesday . He was swimming till Thursday. Friday i found him hiding under a large rock i have in my quarantine tank. I was wondering if i should take the rock out or leave him alone .
