Sorry to hear about that.....I notice that many bluethroats are coming with gill flukes so would recommend if you get another one that you do a freshwater water dip and quarantine for 3 weeks during which you would treat both the water column and food with General cure which has both prazi and metro in it. Again sorry but don't give up as they are really nice fish and relatively hardy once you get them cleaned out and settled. Good luck ...
