New BTA Getting Cozy With Montipora

I put in a BTA today. It picked a nice spot so I stopped watching it. When I came back a few hours later it had moved under a monti. What are my options here?

My BTAs have killed a few montis, a torch, a chalice, a Duncan, a birdsnest, and a couple acans. Since it looks like moving the Monti isnt really possible, and moving the anemone isn’t really possible, the only option you have is to wait it out. The damage isn’t always immediately apparent. The Monti might not look like it got stung too bad, but in a week it’ll two it’ll start peeling. The only real option you have is to point a power head at the anemone aim in the direction you want it to move. Some BTAs just like to wander, they can become terrorists.

I’ve had a power head on it all day but it hasn’t moved out. Is it possible to remove it from the rock or is that too dangerous?

Youll likely damage the foot and kill your nem by forcibly moving it
