Hi all,

I picked up a BTA today from my lfs that was nice and rich in colour, they keep their anemones in their sps tanks but in a basket to prevent them wandering. They keep their sps tanks at 35ppt, so I temp acclimated him and added some tank water then put her in a spot that I thought would be suitable, flow, lighting and and a crevis for its foot. I was wondering if it's normal for them to be all inflated like he has been in my tank for years. During the evening feeding i spot feed him a little mysis which he's eating.

I was under the impression that they sulk and deflat when added to a new tank.

Not very experienced with Bta's but we purchased one a couple months ago and it only deflates at night when tank is dark. We put it in the tank on a rock and it hasn't moved at all. I'm under the impression that if it deflates and moves around that it isn't happy. If I am wrong, I know others with more experience will chime in. Love this site for that exact reason.
