New BTA not inflating

Hi All,

I put a new BTA in my tank about 24hrs ago and it is still just a tiny little shrunken shell of itself and doesn’t even appear to have attached to the rock despite all flow being off (it’s tucked in a little crevice so it’s sitting still).

Parameters are all fine, the two other nems are doing great.

Just curious if people have had this experience, in the past my other nems have always opened up within a couple hours of adding to the tank.

Some take longer than others to settle in sometimes they will hide between rocks for weeks. The secret is leave them alone to do there own thing it will find its own happy place eventually. Hopefully it has footed by now onto
some rock probably trying to adjust to your water and flow also lighting of its new home

It’s still quite early but I have some concern if it not sticking.
Healthy nems should have sticky feet.

By looking at previous threads it appears your tank is brand new? Not generally a good environment for an anemone if so.
